With over 20 years of experience in nonprofit operations and management, Adriana has built a career rooted in service, leadership, and a deep commitment to addressing systemic disparities in public health.
A first-generation college graduate and the proud daughter of migrant workers, Adriana brings both professional expertise and profound lived experience to her work. Her early life was shaped by the challenges of housing insecurity, financial instability, and the structural barriers often faced by immigrant families. These experiences have fueled her lifelong dedication to creating healthier, more equitable communities, particularly for historically underserved populations.
Adriana earned her Master of Public Health (MPH) from the California State University, Fullerton with a focus on health policy and community health. Her academic and professional journeys have centered on empowering organizations and local governments to design inclusive, sustainable solutions to complex public health challenges. She is known for her collaborative approach, her strong operational acumen, and her unwavering advocacy for health, academic and financial equity.
